You will work closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to create engaging content that elevates the BJAK brand while mentoring junior artists and helping define animation standards across the organization.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>3D Animation &amp; Creative Execution</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create high-quality 3D animations for marketing campaigns, product showcases, social media content, and brand storytelling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop engaging character, object, and environmental animations that communicate ideas effectively.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Translate storyboards and creative concepts into polished 3D animated content.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Produce cinematic camera movements, transitions, and visual sequences that enhance audience engagement.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ensure consistency in animation quality, visual style, and brand identity across all deliverables.</p></li></ul><h3>Creative Direction &amp; Collaboration</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, Product, and Content teams to develop compelling visual narratives.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to concept development, storyboarding, and creative ideation sessions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Mentor and provide guidance to junior animators and designers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work alongside motion designers, video editors, illustrators, and creative producers to deliver cohesive multimedia campaigns.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Present animation concepts and creative solutions to stakeholders.</p></li></ul><h3>Technical Excellence</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage the end-to-end 3D production pipeline, including modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, rendering, compositing, and post-production.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Optimize workflows, rendering processes, and asset management systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop reusable animation assets, templates, and production standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Troubleshoot technical issues related to animation, rendering, simulation, or visual effects.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining exceptional creative quality.</p></li></ul><h3>Innovation &amp; Emerging Technologies</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Stay current with industry trends in 3D animation, CGI, motion graphics, and visual effects.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Explore new tools, workflows, AI-assisted creative technologies, and real-time rendering techniques.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experiment with advanced animation techniques, simulations, and cinematic storytelling approaches.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Continuously elevate BJAK’s visual content standards through innovation and creative excellence.</p></li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Animation, Multimedia Design, Computer Graphics, Visual Effects, or a related field.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">2+ years of professional experience in 3D animation, CGI production, motion graphics, or visual storytelling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Expert proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or equivalent 3D software.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong experience with lighting, rendering, compositing, and animation pipelines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and related creative tools.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, weight, movement, and storytelling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience creating high-quality character, product, or environment animations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating advanced 3D animation work is required.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><h2>Nice to Have</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with Unreal Engine, Houdini, or real-time rendering workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Knowledge of character rigging, simulations, dynamics, and visual effects.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience integrating AI-assisted creative tools into animation workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Background in advertising, digital products, technology, fintech, or startup environments.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><h2><strong>Location</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">This role is based in <strong>the United Kingdom</strong>. This is a hybrid role.
