Be seen, be understood, be you. </strong></p> <p><strong>The role</strong></p> <p>As a <strong>Rapid Intelligence Analyst</strong>, you will be at the heart of international news coverage.</p> <p>You will monitor political, economic and social developments, analyse national and international media sources, and identify the information that matters most to our clients.</p> <p>Using modern media monitoring technology, you will research and assess news in real time, turning significant developments into short, accurate and easy-to-understand notifications known as Real-Time Alerts.</p> <p>You will join an international team that helps leading companies and organisations stay informed about relevant events.</p> <p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p> <p><em>The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:</em></p> <p><strong>Monitor media and identify developments</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor national and international media to identify breaking news, emerging trends and significant developments.</li> <li>Research traditional media, including print, online, radio and TV, as well as social media platforms.</li> <li>Follow political, economic and social developments and assess their potential significance for our clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Analyse and assess information</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess news for timeliness, relevance and significance to different audiences.</li> <li>Distinguish important developments and critical events from less relevant information.</li> <li>Verify information carefully to ensure clients receive accurate, reliable and relevant content.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Produce real-time alerts</strong></p> <ul> <li>Summarise complex issues quickly, accurately and clearly.</li> <li>Produce professional Real-Time Alerts that keep clients informed of important developments as they happen.</li> <li>Maintain high editorial standards, clear wording and content tailored to the target audience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaborate internationally</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with team members and colleagues around the world.</li> <li>Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to support the reliable delivery of our monitoring services.</li> <li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of editorial processes and the quality of our information products.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential skills and experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent English skills (at least C1) and good German skills (at least B2).</li> <li>A degree in media, communications, political science, social sciences, economics or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.</li> <li>An interest in current political, economic and social developments, with a good understanding of international news.</li> <li>The ability to understand complex information quickly, assess its relevance and summarise it clearly.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, including the ability to recognise connections and critically evaluate information.</li> <li>A careful and independent approach to work, with the ability to stay organised during periods of intense news activity.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset and a sense of responsibility.</li> <li>An openness to new technologies and the ability to learn digital research and media monitoring tools quickly.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What matters most is your ability to identify relevant information and present it clearly. Alongside qualifications, curiosity, analytical thinking and sound news judgement are particularly valued.</strong></p> <p><strong>Working hours and work arrangement</strong></p> <p>Our Rapid Intelligence services help international clients stay informed about important news and developments around the clock, including weekends. This role focuses primarily on weekend coverage.</p> <p><strong>What to expect:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Working hours:</strong> Part-time, 20 hours per week.</li> <li><strong>Weekend shifts:</strong> 8 hours per day on Saturdays and Sundays, from <strong>5:00 am to 1:00 pm Bulgarian time</strong>, totalling 16 hours per week.</li> <li><strong>Weekday hours:</strong> The remaining four hours per week will usually be used to provide cover for other team members.
