Android Engineer (remote, full-time)

Our incredible team works passionately to help other companies deliver quality and make workplaces safe.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin</li> <li>Work closely with QA engineers on testing and issue investigations to ensure app stability and quality</li> <li>Collaborate with Product and Design teams, providing technical input and feasibility insights</li> <li>Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and testable code</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies</li> <li>Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <p><strong>Must-haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of Android experience</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Kotlin</li> <li>Solid understanding of coroutines and concurrency principles</li> <li>Familiarity with Room and general database concepts</li> <li>Experience with MVVM architecture and awareness of design patterns</li> <li>Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and backend services</li> <li>Good knowledge of Jetpack components</li> <li>Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Jetpack Compose</li> <li>Knowledge of writing unit and integration tests for Android applications</li> <li>iOS experience</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Work 100% remotely with flexible working hours</li> <li>Annual meet-up in Berlin for a week (The Lumi-Week) with all employees where we have workshops, team events, drinks, delicious food, and good talks</li> <li>We care about your personal &#x26; professional development.
