APAC Tax Lead (6-12 months Contract)

We leverage the power of digital assets and blockchain to build an inclusive financial ecosystem to advance the freedom of money and improve financial access for people around the world.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Be the main point of contact for all tax matters related to the region.</li> <li>Manage and ensure top-notch tax compliance by liaising with local teams and/or relevant external firms.</li> <li>Provide internal tax advisory and business operation support on regional matters, related to all aspects of taxation (international, direct, indirect, corporate, and personal taxation). This includes advice on the structuring of commercial transactions and contractual arrangements, as well as support on new business ventures such as new products or services.</li> <li>Identify and implement tax opportunities and optimizations in the region, including partnering with the global tax team to maintain synergies and alignment with the global structure and strategies.</li> <li>Manage contact, queries, relationships, and audits with local tax authorities.
