APJ Accounting Manager

This role provides regional leadership across Australia, India, Japan, and Singapore (and future entities), acting as the day-to-day owner of delivery while operating under the direction of the Senior Manager.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></h3> <p><strong>1. Close &amp; Financial Reporting Delivery</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own timely and accurate delivery of APJ month-end close</li> <li>Ensure all reconciliations, journals, and schedules meet deadlines</li> <li>Present finalised outputs for Senior Manager review and approval</li> </ul> <p><strong>2. Stakeholder &amp; Provider Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as day-to-day point of contact for senior management and external providers</li> <li>Manage outsourced provider performance against SLAs and KPIs</li> <li>Resolve issues proactively and escalate where required</li> </ul> <p><strong>3. Statutory &amp; Audit Oversight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee preparation and submission of statutory financial statements</li> <li>Coordinate audits and ensure local compliance requirements are met</li> <li>Ensure compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>4. Team Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage APJ Accountant</li> <li>Ensure clear prioritisation, accountability, and delivery standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>5. Cash Flow &amp; Intercompany Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Consolidate APJ intercompany positions and cash requirements</li> <li>Provide forward-looking visibility (quarter + 60 days)</li> <li>Prepare recommendations on settlements and funding for Senior Manager review</li> </ul> <p><strong>6. Indirect Tax Oversight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review indirect tax returns and supporting workbooks</li> <li>Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission via external partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>7.
