Associate Founding Engineer (Full-Stack)

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're an early-stage, Munich-based startup building an AI-powered digital assistant for B2B sales teams. Our product automates the administrative burden of sales work — from meeting preparation and real-time note-taking (without audio recording, fully GDPR-compliant) to CRM updates and follow-up management — so sales professionals can focus on what they do best: selling.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Our engineering team is small and moving fast. We're building a true multi-platform product: a <strong>React Web App</strong>, an <strong>Electron Desktop Client</strong>, a <strong>Swift Mobile App</strong>, and two backend services. As an <strong>Associate Founding Engineer (Full-Stack)</strong>, you'll work side-by-side with founding engineers from the very beginning — learning deeply, contributing meaningfully, and growing quickly as you take on increasing responsibility.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.</strong></p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Learn from and support founding engineers on real, high-impact product work.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to core features across Web, Desktop, Mobile, and backend services.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Receive direct mentorship from senior technical leaders.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in product and architecture discussions from day one.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Take on greater ownership and responsibility as you demonstrate your strengths.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid foundation in <strong>TypeScript</strong> and modern <strong>React</strong>.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Strongly preferred:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrable experience in one or more of: mobile (<strong>Swift</strong>), desktop (<strong>Electron/React</strong>), or Web (<strong>React/Node.js</strong>, REST/WebSockets).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven track record delivering features that span multiple platforms (Web, Desktop Electron/React, and Mobile Swift) within a single product.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort working in <strong>GitHub-based teams</strong> with code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience participating in early-stage product discussions and influencing architectural or technical decisions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Active contributor to open-source projects, or a strong portfolio of side projects and extracurricular technical initiative.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong CS fundamentals; a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment where the roadmap evolves quickly.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Willingness to work from our <strong>Munich, Germany office</strong> in a hybrid arrangement (on-site presence is required as part of this role).</p></li></ul><h3>Location &amp; Work Arrangement</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a <strong>hybrid role</strong> based in <strong>Munich, Germany</strong>. Regular on-site presence at our Munich office is expected.
