You’ll be stepping into a mature, integrated team and helping push it forward: improving our platform architecture, raising our quality bar, and building robust, scalable features that tens of thousands of users rely on every day.</p><h2>Tasks</h2><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><p>Your work will directly impact how thousands of companies and candidates experience hiring. Here’s what that looks like:</p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps/platform teams to build meaningful features through our Agile SDLC/Kanban workflow.</p></li><li><p>Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Define technical requirements and identify the best solutions to meet team goals.</p></li><li><p>Participate in engineering retrospectives focused on testing, architecture, automation, and coding standards.</p></li><li><p>Always think beyond the code - you’ll focus on delivering value and improving the user experience for our customers.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Who you’ll work with</strong></p><p>You’ll join our Backend Guild, collaborating closely with Product, Platform, DevOps, and Frontend teams. We care deeply about quality, performance, and a great developer experience – supported by clean architecture, code generation, linters, templates, and test-driven development.</p><h2>Requirements</h2><p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p><p>We don’t believe in checklists - but if most of these apply to you, we’d love to chat:</p><p>✔ 5+ years of backend development experience.</p><p>✔ 2+ years of experience with a strongly typed language or TypeScript.</p><p>✔ Strong experience with RDBMS (raw queries or via ORM).</p><p>✔ Solid background in unit and integration testing.</p><p>✔ Experience with message brokers (SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, etc.).</p><p><strong>Bonus:</strong> Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, GCP or AWS, gRPC and protobufs.</p><p><strong>Bonus:</strong> Strong grasp of SOLID principles.</p><h2>Benefits</h2><p><strong>Our Values</strong></p><p>🚀 <strong>Impact Over Effort</strong> – We optimize for outcomes, not hours.
