This role is ideal for physicians who are passionate about mentorship, education, and helping high-achieving students navigate BS/MD applications. <strong>This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.</strong></p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Guide prospective BS/MD and direct medical program applicants through the admissions process, including school selection, application strategy, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines, and interviews</li> <li>Help students strengthen their academic and extracurricular profiles and develop compelling application materials</li> <li>Support students in researching and evaluating best-fit BS/MD, pre-med, and undergraduate programs aligned with their goals and interests</li> <li>Provide guidance and feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview preparation while helping students maintain an authentic voice</li> <li>Support students with project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking through internal organizational tools</li> <li>Stay up to date on BS/MD, direct medical, pre-med, and undergraduate admissions trends to provide timely and strategic guidance</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>MD or DO degree required</li> <li>Prior admissions committee experience at the undergraduate or medical school level</li> <li>Experience mentoring high school students, particularly in academic advising or college application support</li> <li>Familiarity with BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes, including school selection, application strategy, and interview preparation</li> <li>Proven success guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions</li> <li>Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple students and timelines</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul> <hr> <p>For more information about our company, please visit our website: <a href="https://www.inspiraeducationgroup.com/" rel="nofollow ugc noopener" target="_blank">Inspira Education Group</a>. </p> <p><em>Inspira Education Group does not discriminate based on race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, </em><em>sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other reason prohibited by law in providing employment opportunities and benefits.</em></p>
