We already have a product, customers are ready to use it, and we are launching now. Your work will directly shape the electronics, actuators, and embedded systems that make that possible.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will join at the moment when the hard engineering questions become real product decisions: how do we make a highly capable robotic hand reliable, manufacturable, serviceable, and simple enough to deploy on a real shop floor?</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">TACTILIA is entering a new chapter as an independent company, following its spin-off from SCHUNK. As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the leadership team as a key operational and strategic partner, helping shape and drive the company’s next phase of growth.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a high-ownership role, you will operate across strategy, technology, product, business and operations, taking on the TACTILIA’s most important and ambiguous problems and driving them from idea to outcome.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will help build the operating infrastructure that allows TACTILIA to scale without losing its speed, ambition or quality.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Act as a trusted thought partner to the leadership and help drive the company’s highest-priority initiatives.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the leadership´s operating rhythm, including strategic planning, leadership meetings, company priorities.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Take ownership of complex cross-functional problems where no obvious owner exists from defining the problem through to execution.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build the processes, tools and systems that help TACTILIA operate more effectively as the team grows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive strategic and operational initiatives across technology, product, commercial, hiring and organisational development.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and maintain a clear view of company performance, translating data into insights, priorities and actions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with the leadership on headcount planning, resource allocation, partnerships, fundraising and other critical company decisions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify bottlenecks and opportunities before they become problems, and design pragmatic solutions.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>What you bring:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Several years of experience in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment, such as a startup, scale-up, consulting, investment, strategy, operations, or another relevant leadership environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Tool stack fluency/requirements Project management, collaboration and productivity tools?</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint/Google Slides.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and diverse teams.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A high level of ownership, initiative, and personal accountability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">The ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>Bonus:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to a corporate spin-off or carve-out process — understanding how a new entity separates from and continues to work with a parent company</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working in or with a startup or scale-up in robotics, deep-tech, or another hardware-intensive industry</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em">As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the leadership team, gain broad exposure across the organization, and have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company's strategy, execution, and development.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will join an ambitious team working on meaningful challenges and will have significant ownership from day one.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The next chapter of robotics won't be built in a lab.
