We aim to decarbonise building materials, making up 11% of global GHG emissions. We collect data from physical production processes, generate a digital product passport with verified environmental data and make it usable along the value chain. Your focus will be twofold: creating real value for our customers, as well as driving internal processes within the CS team to make us more efficient. Along the way, you'll gain hands-on insight into product management (including our Digital Twin area), LCA engineering, and how new applications get built into an existing product. You'll also work closely with our LCA Domain Experts, giving you exposure to the technical foundation of our product.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">At the same time, you'll dive into the building materials industry itself: getting to know manufacturers of cement, steel, windows, construction chemicals, asphalt, electronic building equipment and many more - and understanding how differently each of them approaches EPDs and LCAs.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>During your internship, you will</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support the CS team across all stages of the customer journey, from onboarding to ongoing support (including, participating in customer meetings &amp; visits, answering customer requests, validating EPD and LCA’s)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to and help shape internal processes (i.e automating workflows of data transfers and customer communications, analysing user behaviour)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own an individual project end-to-end, driving it forward independently within your time at Emidat (e.g. improvement of usability of Emidat platform with customer knowledge &amp; insights gained through internship).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Get direct insight into how CS, Product, and our LCA Domain Experts collaborate.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build a broad understanding of the building materials industry and its sustainability requirements.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What you should bring to this role</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Languages:</strong> Business fluent in German (C2/Native) and English (C1/C2)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Project Management:</strong> Demonstrated previous experience taking projects from start to finish - owning, structuring and driving the measurable outcomes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>AI native:</strong> Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate a workflow, analyse data, or accelerate a deliverable — comfortable experimenting with new AI features as they emerge.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Demonstrated Interest:</strong> Relevant work experience, education or interest in the sector.
