Youtooz creates designer toys for the heroes and role models of the internet — Youtubers, Instagram influencers, celebrities, athletes, rappers, and more. Our mission is to bring the people you already love to watch and keep up with on the internet in real life, on your desk at work, your shelf in your bedroom or even in your living room for everyone to see. Youtooz are incredibly personal and unique to each creator and customer and comes with a variety of unique perks.<br><br>Concept Artists at Youtooz will create the aesthetic and look for our product. They are responsible for taking a content creator or popular IP and turning them into a 2D concept that fits the brand’s aesthetic guidelines and accurately personifies the creator.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Research and capture a content creator's personality, mood, content, community and other defining features into a 2D collectible</li><li>Quickly create initial concepts and effectively incorporate feedback into following iterations</li><li>Interpret your 2D concept into turnarounds to prepare for 3D modeling</li><li>Assist our 3D modelers by making supplemental 2D assets</li><li>Meet design deadlines<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>3-5 years of experience in concept art/drawing/sketching</li><li>Strong experience using Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate</li><li>Effective communication skills</li><li>Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and problem solve</li><li>Strong understanding of art fundamentals: colour theory, perspective and proportions</li><li>Visual development best-practices: roughs, silhouettes, lineups. </li><li>Excellent visual eye and attention to detail<br><br></li></ul>Bonus Points<br><br><ul><li>Experience with 3D Programs such as Maya and Z-Brush</li><li>Experience with traditional art such as painting or sculpting</li><li>Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation or a related discipline<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>PORTFOLIOS USING AI WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED<br><br></strong></strong><strong>The Pay Range For This Role Is<br><br></strong>50,000 - 70,000 CAD per year(Toronto, Canada)<br><br>50,000 - 70,000 CAD per year(Vancouver, Canada)<br><br>50,000 - 70,000 CAD per year(Montreal, Canada)<br><br>50,000 - 70,000 CAD per year(Calgary, Canada)<br/><br/>Please mention the word **FLUTTER** and tag RMmEwMTo0Zjk6NmE6MTY2YTo6Mg== when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMmEwMTo0Zjk6NmE6MTY2YTo6Mg==).
