We provide independent oversight of credit risk models, strategies, and the data assets that underpin them. You will own a critical piece of our data infrastructure and play a hands-on role in making sure the team can do its best analytical work.</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">The primary steward of the modelled datasets the Credit Risk team relies on daily: maintaining field logic, monitoring data quality, and ensuring the data as well as the dictionary remains accurate and fit for purpose.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Creating new tables and pipelines as the team’s analytical needs evolve, working to a high standard of code quality and documentation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proactively identify anomalies, breaks, and drift in the datamart, and investigate root causes before they affect downstream users.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Be the go-to person for data questions from analysts and model validators, and will maintain clear documentation so others can self-serve confidently.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Working closely with the central Data to align on tooling, infrastructure, and best practice, and promote those to the Credit Risk Team.</p></li></ul><h2>What we’re looking for 🌱</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We value deep expertise, but a growth mindset and good energy are what really make our team click. We’re a group that chooses to lift each other up and think smart every day.</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A degree from a numerical or data-related subject, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Data Science</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">1–2 years of work experience, or a recent graduate with demonstrably strong data skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficient in SQL, familiar with Github, and confident using Tableau to build and maintain dashboards</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable working independently on ambiguous, open-ended data problems with a methodical and detail-oriented approach</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A clear communicator, able to document logic and flag data issues in plain language for both technical and non-technical colleagues</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with Python, dbt, Airflow, or AWS is a plus, so is MS Office in a professional setting</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Able to take ownership of redesigning departmental workflows, using AI to automate complex tasks and drive operational efficiency</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Competently able to Identify high-impact AI use cases and implement advanced prompting techniques to solve multi-layered business challenges<br /></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>We’re building a place where everyone truly feels they belong.
