We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As a Data Annotator within the Visual Navigation team, you work at the foundation of how our autonomous systems interpret their environment. You review large volumes of image datasets and apply precise, consistent annotations that directly feed the training and validation of our computer vision and machine learning models. You collaborate closely with our Computer Vision, Data Architecture, and Machine Learning teams to ensure the data you deliver meets the rigor required for real-world deployment.<br /></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Analyze, label, and annotate diverse image datasets to support the training and validation of our AI models.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Follow detailed annotation guidelines precisely, maintaining consistency across large batches of work.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Review AI model outputs for accuracy and contextual relevance, flagging discrepancies against expected results.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Perform annotation peer-review with other members of the Annotation team to ensure consistency and quality.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Communicate findings and edge cases to the AI and Data Engineering teams.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Occasionally support field test campaigns to help with on-site data collection.<br /></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Baccalauréat (or equivalent); no specific prior qualification required.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across long, repetitive tasks.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable using digital tools and following strict, well-defined project guidelines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to work consistently and reliably within a structured, process-driven environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Previous experience in data-labeling, annotation, or content-evaluation is a plus.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Good written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Fluency in French required; English is a plus.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.</p><p>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.fr">Jobs in France</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
