Your story matters – keep writing it as part of our team.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Are you ready to join us?</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your Role</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work closely with analysts, stakeholders, and engineers to design, build, and improve modeled data workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and maintain backend services, data pipelines, AI agents, and workflow orchestration systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Standardize and consolidate fragmented workflows and standalone tools into a centralized platform.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support, maintain, and continuously improve production-grade internal tools and workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to platform architecture, operational reliability, and the continuous automation and optimization of analytical workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate evolving business and analyst/researcher requirements into practical technical solutions.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your Profile</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong Python skills with experience in backend systems, data pipelines, workflow automation, or internal tooling</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications using LLMs, AI agents, and modern AI APIs.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid understanding of SQL, databases, and data modeling concepts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with Git and writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with workflow orchestration and general data engineering concepts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Understanding of containerization and cloud environments, such as Docker or AWS, is a plus</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to thrive in a fast-evolving environment and adapt to changing technologies and business requirements.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Structured and thoughtful approach to problem-solving with attention to maintainability and scalability</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable collaborating with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders in a cross-functional environment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong communication skills and fluent English</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we offer</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">In addition to our great team, culture, and our shared goal of empowering people with data, there are many other things that make Statista a great place to work!
