DevOps Engineer, Blockchain Infra (Fully Remote)

You will be responsible for designing cloud-native platforms, automating infrastructure, improving system reliability, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver production-grade services across multiple cloud providers.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving infrastructure challenges at scale, has strong software engineering fundamentals, and is passionate about automation and platform engineering.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.</li> <li>Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production environments.</li> <li>Manage cluster autoscaling and capacity planning using Karpenter and Kubernetes native technologies.</li> <li>Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.</li> <li>Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.</li> <li>Deploy and operate middleware platforms such as Kafka, Redis and NGINX.</li> <li>Automate operational tasks using Golang and Python.</li> <li>Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.</li> <li>Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery.</li> <li>Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.</li> <li>Work closely with software engineers to improve deployment processes and platform</li> <li>developer experience.</li> <li>Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.</li> <li>Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS / GCP / Azure</li> <li>Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes production environments.</li> <li>Experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes autoscaling and node lifecycle management.</li> <li>Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.</li> <li>Experience administering Linux systems and networking fundamentals.</li> <li>Experience operating middleware technologies such as: Kafka / Redis / NGINX</li> <li>Strong scripting and programming skills in: Golang / Python</li> <li>Experience with Git, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD platforms.</li> <li>Strong understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry.</li> <li>Familiarity with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Experience operating blockchain infrastructure or Web3 platforms.</li> <li>Experience deploying and managing blockchain nodes (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Cosmos, or other Layer 1/Layer 2 networks).</li> <li>Familiarity with blockchain RPC services, validators, indexing services, or distributed consensus systems.</li> <li>Experience with Argo CD, Helm, Helmfile, or Flux.</li> <li>Experience with multi-region and multi-cloud deployments.</li> <li>Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, networking, and secrets management.</li> <li>Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.</li> <li>Familiarity with message queues, distributed caching, and high-throughput systems.</li> <li>Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for large-scale distributed systems.</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges or blockchain infrastructure providers.</li> <li>Experience operating multi-region, multi-cloud production environments.</li> <li>Knowledge of RPC infrastructure, distributed databases, or high-performance networking.</li> <li>Familiarity with security and compliance best practices (IAM, WAF, Vault, KMS, etc.).</li> <li>Experience contributing to open-source projects</li> </ul> <h3>Compensation</h3> <h3>Additional Information</h3> <p><b>Why Binance</b></p> <p>• Shape the future with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem</p> <p>• Collaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structure</p> <p>• Tackle unique, fast-paced projects with autonomy in an innovative environment</p> <p>• Thrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning</p> <p>• Competitive salary and company benefits</p> <p>• Work-from-home arrangement (the arrangement may vary depending on the work nature of the business team)</p> <p>Binance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
