Our inclusive culture is a cornerstone of our success, enabling us to attract and retain top talent globally.</p><p>We are not just about conducting clinical trials; we are about building a community where every team member has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the pharmaceutical industry.</p><h2>Job Description</h2><p>In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes across multiple environments.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot system issues using logs, diagnostics, and monitoring tools</li><li>Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash</li><li>Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment</li><li>Configure and maintain web servers (IIS) and support application hosting environments</li><li>Deploy, manage, and scale applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)</li><li>Build and maintain Docker images, Docker files, and containerized environments</li><li>Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth release cycles and reliable deployments</li><li>Contribute to improving system architecture and adopting best DevOps practices</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>BSc/BA in computer science, software engineering or relevant discipline</li><li>Full working proficiency in English</li><li>At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer</li><li>Windows and Linux administration skills</li><li>Solid understanding of system internals, troubleshooting, and log analysis</li><li>Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and SSL/TLS</li><li>Proficiency with Git (branching, merging, rebasing) and modern workflows</li><li>Experience with Azure DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)<ul><li>Helm and cert-manager are a plus</li><li>Familiarity with container registries</li></ul></li><li>Experience managing IIS (Nginx/Tomcat is a plus)</li><li>Working knowledge of MS SQL for support and diagnostics</li><li>Programming/scripting:<ul><li>Required: .NET (C# / ASP.NET) for understanding application build and deployment processes</li><li>Preferred: Node.js to enable development of extensions for Azure DevOps</li><li>Nice to have: Python or Go for creating supporting tools and scripts</li></ul></li><li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix)</li><li>Understanding of modern architectures: monolith, microservices, event-driven, serverless</li></ul><h2>Additional Information</h2><ul><li>Stable, privately-owned company, organically growing since 1995</li><li>Opportunities to work remotely in Latvia</li><li>Intensive induction program, technical and industry-related trainings for an optimal start and continuous development</li><li>Diverse projects that include but are not limited to web and desktop apps, ERP system, BPM system, document management system and more</li><li>Friendly and supportive atmosphere in a committed team</li><li>International environment, with colleagues around the world</li><li>Opportunities to quickly see the results of your work</li></ul>
