Following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond. <br></p><p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p><p><span style="color:#2B4466">We are searching for a </span><strong><span style="color:#2B4466">Director of Finance</span></strong><span style="color:#2B4466"> to lead our Accounting and Finance function. The Finance team offers a unique opportunity as you spend time in diverse markets like Asia, Europe, and LATAM. As we are still relatively early on our journey, you can really shape the future of Distribusion with us. This position will report directly to the Distribusion CFO.</span><strong><br></strong></p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Lead, manage and further develop the Accounting and Finance function, ensuring the achievement of objectives and delivering high-quality work.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Accountability for financial operations, including Invoicing, Accounting, Controlling, budgeting, liquidity and cash flow management.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Manage clearing and settlement on a global scale.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Continuously monitor and drive process improvements within the Accounting and Finance function, leveraging automation and technology (software systems) to streamline workflows and increase efficiency</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Organise structured internal and external reporting that is compliant with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Build and maintain effective relationships with Banks, Accounting Offices, Financial Authorities, and other stakeholders, and oversee external service providers</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and foreign exchange, ensuring that there is adequate liquidity to meet the company's obligations</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Collaborate closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, technology, commercial, retail partnerships and operations, to support strategic initiatives, business decisions, and financial planning</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Provide guidance and support during due diligence processes for potential funding rounds</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#2B4466">Provide leadership, development and motivation, and set clear team and individual goals to develop and promote a sustainable team structure</span></p></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Workplace: Belrin &amp; Hybrid</strong></p><p>We are ideally seeking to locate this role at our HQ in Berlin, Germany.
