Dispensing Pharmacist

This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who is committed to excellence in pharmacy operations.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What will you be doing?</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Clinically check prescriptions for Controlled drug prescriptions for medicinal cannabis</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ensure timely availability and dispatch of medicines for patients.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comply with all regulatory requirements for ordering, receiving, storing, and dispensing medicines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain accurate records in line with GPhC standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Provide patient counselling on the safe use of medicines, including specialised equipment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Offer guidance to prescribers to minimise supply disruptions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant supply chains.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, maintaining security and supervising pharmacy staff.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with multidisciplinary teams to manage safe prescribing practices.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain electronic health records and implement regulatory changes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support governance and operational teams to ensure GPhc and regulatory compliance.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to the efficient running of pharmacy services through stock monitoring and audits.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What do you need?</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">UK-qualified, registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC number.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">CPD-accredited medical cannabis education preferred (training provided if necessary).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bupa Private Healthcare Scheme</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year &amp; 30 after 3 years) + bank holidays</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5% matched pension</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Cycle-to-work scheme</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Opportunities for development and growth</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A dynamic and supportive work environment</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>About Montu</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Montu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM).
