<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Join a fast-growing, Series A/B-backed EdTech company building an AI-powered learning platform used by tens of millions of students across 30+ countries. As an <strong>Engineering Intern</strong>, you'll work alongside a talented and international engineering team to contribute to real product features that help students learn more effectively — from AI tutoring tools to study resources and beyond.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a hands-on internship where you'll be embedded in the team and expected to ship meaningful work. The internship runs for <strong>3–6 months</strong> and is based in <strong>Berlin, Germany</strong>.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to the development and improvement of features across a mobile-first, AI-driven learning platform</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Write clean, well-tested code in one or more languages (e.g. Python, Java, or JavaScript)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with engineers and product managers in an agile environment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Take ownership of scoped tasks and deliver them end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, or JavaScript), demonstrated through coursework, personal projects, or a prior internship</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to commit to the full internship duration (3–6 months) with a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A portfolio or examples of coding work (e.g. a GitHub profile or project repository)</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prior experience in a tech startup or product-focused engineering environment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS/Android) or web development</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Interest in EdTech, AI, or consumer-facing applications</p></li></ul><h3>Location</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Berlin, Germany</strong> — on-site</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Visa sponsorship is <strong>not available</strong> for this role</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Compensation details are not specified for this role.
