Real-time infrastructure, AI-native architecture, and a frontend that feels effortless - all powered by a team that moves fast, thinks rigorously, and holds an exceptionally high bar for quality.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We’re looking for Engineering Leads who are passionate about building incredible teams that will push boundaries, obsess over details, and reinvent how millions of people work. This is a hands-on role which combines individual technical contribution with leadership of a small, focused team of engineers.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What you'll do</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute across the stack, bringing to bear your high calibre technical expertise in either Backend (Typescript/Node.js/Go/GCP) or Frontend (React), to deliver features end-to-end to our customers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Recruit and develop a top-class team of engineers that own a critical area of Attio’s product.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and evolve our technical architecture to support Attio’s rapidly increasing scale.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead projects and make product decisions based on interactions with customers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Represent Attio’s Product &amp; Engineering values both internally and externally.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><h2><strong>What you'll bring</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience designing secure, scalable, reliable backend systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent knowledge of modern cloud architectures (either GCP or AWS).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrable deep expertise with Node.js/Typescript or Go for backend development, or React for frontend development.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience of hiring and managing a team of Security Engineers, and working with cross-functional partners.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to communicate technical ideas to the wider team and influence decisions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A desire and aptitude for leading and growing a great engineering team.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><h2><strong>What we offer</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Competitive salary of £120,000 to £150,000</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Equity in an early-stage tech company on an incredible trajectory</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">25 days holiday plus local public holidays</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Apple hardware</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Private medical insurance through AXA</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Pension contribution through Hargreaves Lansdown</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Enhanced family leave</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Team off-site in fun places!
