<div><strong style="font-size: 10.5pt;">We are looking for Senior software engineers with front-end expertise who can also be people managers of other software engineers, for a share of their time (up to 50%).</strong></div>

<div><strong>On the engineering part:</strong></div>

<div>- Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and responsive user interfaces.</div>
<div>- Optimize frontend performance to ensure smooth and efficient user experiences.</div>
<div>- Tackle real-time challenges, enabling concurrent editing resilient to network disruptions, based on a single source of truth managed through efficient caching.</div>
<div>- Translate functional requirements into elegant and simple designs, delivering high-quality code.</div>
<div>- Understand and address the product and customer needs, suggesting innovative ideas to deliver maximum value to end users.</div>
<div>- We are also looking for engineers who understand the product and the customer's needs in detail and can suggest innovative ideas: in the end, it's all about delivering value to end users.</div>

<div><strong>On the people management part, here is what it entails:</strong></div>
<div> </div>
<div>- Coach up to six direct reports, providing guidance and support (usually every two weeks).</div>
<div>- Define expectations, collect and deliver feedback, and build career development plans using our skill leveling matrix.</div>
<div>- Participate in performance-related decisions with other managers, including proposing and calibrating salary raises and handling under-performance remediation.</div>
<div>(Optional) Lead ad hoc projects to structure engineering efforts, such as organizing technical demos, leading - All Hands meetings, or evolving our skill leveling matrix.</div>

<div>In the Pigment engineering team, people managers do not have the responsibility of a particular technical domain, as this is the role of technical leads: this way, we make sure career decisions and technical choices are independent of one another.</div>

<div>- Experience as a software engineer working on a product in production - for managers specifically, this experience must be evaluated during the interview process at a “senior” level (that is, usually from 7-8 years).</div>
<div>- Experience in people management of at least 2-3 years.</div>
<div>- Proven experience with front technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, React, Vue, and Angular (among others).</div>
<div>- Great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude and user experience focus</div>
<div>- A good dose of humility and the willingness to grow (no matter your seniority!).</div>
