Apply now and help us shape the energy world of tomorrow.</strong></p> <p>Learn about our Product &#x26; Tech team!</p> <h2>Deine Position</h2> <p>As an Engineering Manager at <strong>1KOMMA5° Heartbeat AI GmbH</strong>, you will lead one of our cross-functional App teams, empowering your engineers to own the full lifecycle of their products from development and deployment to day-to-day operations.</p> <h2>Our Stack:</h2> <ul> <li>TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, Flutter</li> <li>AI-assisted development with Cursor and agentic coding workflows</li> <li>SQLMesh, BigQuery, Looker</li> <li>GCP, Vercel, GitHub Actions, Datadog</li> <li>Linear, Notion, Figma, Miro</li> </ul> <h2>Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:</h2> <ul> <li>Provide technical leadership, guidance, and expertise across a platform team and be part of the hiring process to find the best talents</li> <li>Be an excellent people manager and support your team members in their professional and personal development</li> <li>Help your team members to create, implement, evaluate, deploy, sustain, and enhance software solutions for complex and undefined problems</li> <li>Foster a culture of experiment-driven innovation within the team</li> <li>Promote teamwork and successful project execution</li> <li>Improve developer satisfaction by constantly avoiding/reducing tech-debt, automating as much as possible and documenting decisions, runbooks etc.</li> </ul> <h2>Dein Profil</h2> <p>You have:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field</li> <li>At least 5 years of proven experience in software engineering in a fast paced and scalable environment</li> <li>At least 3 years of experience in leading cross-functional and agile software engineering teams working with cutting edge technologies on distributed systems</li> <li>Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills in English, German is a plus Bonus points for:</li> <li>Experience in climate tech and especially energy industry</li> <li>Experience in a startup or scale-up environment We are an ambitious and dynamic company with a talented team.
