Founded over 40 years ago, the company has a long history of delivering high-quality construction projects and has established a reputation for excellence in the industry.<br><br>This well respected builder prides itself on its commitment to safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, making it a trusted and respected player in the Australian construction market.<br><br>They are known as a traditional Tier 2 builder who delivers projects from $2M to $70M.<br><br><strong>The role (Estimator)<br><br></strong>We are looking for an Estimator with 4 to 5 years plus experience to join a team of 3, reporting to your Estimating Manager.<br><br><strong>Main Responsibilities Might Include<br><br></strong><ul><li>Reviewing project plans and specifications</li><li>Conducting site visits to gather information on project requirements</li><li>Conducting research on construction materials, equipment and labour costs</li><li>Preparing detailed cost estimates based on project plans, specifications and cost information</li><li>Presenting cost estimates to clients and project managers</li><li>Collaborating with project teams to ensure estimates align with project goals</li><li>Monitoring project costs and making adjustments as necessary to ensure estimates remain accurate.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Are Looking For<br><br></strong>To be an effective estimator, one should have a solid understanding of construction methods and materials, as well as experience in cost estimating and project management. A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is often preferred, along with experience in the construction industry.
