This role involves ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel by performing firefighting, rescue and emergency medical services.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Emergency Response:<br><br></strong>Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency situations on airport property.<br><br>Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property.<br><br><strong>Fire Suppression<br><br></strong>Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques, including the use of water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents.<br><br>Conduct search and rescue operations in smoke-filled and hazardous environments.<br><br><strong>Emergency Medical Services<br><br></strong>Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive.<br><br>Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities as needed.<br><br><strong>Operational Readiness<br><br></strong>Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers, and personal protective equipment (PPE).<br><br>Maintain inventory of firefighting supplies and equipment and ensure their readiness for use.<br><br>Participate in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills.<br><br>Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs for regulatory audits.<br><br><strong>Compliance And Reporting<br><br></strong>Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines related to firefighting and emergency response and ensure all tasks are performed following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).<br><br>Identify potential hazards during patrols and inspections, ensuring immediate corrective action.<br><br>Prepare and submit accurate incident reports, equipment logs, and other required documentation.<br><br><strong>Collaboration And Coordination<br><br></strong>Collaborate with airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies during incidents.<br><br>Coordinate with the Duty Manager, ATC, and airport authorities during emergency operations and drills.<br><br><strong>Key Stakeholders - Internal<br><br></strong>Duty Manager - ARFF<br><br>Airport Operations Team<br><br>Airport Security<br><br>Emergency Medical Services<br><br>ARFF Crew Members<br><br>Engineering &amp; Maintenance Team<br><br>Health, Safety &amp; Environment (HSE) Team<br><br><strong>Key Stakeholders - External<br><br></strong>Local Fire Services Department<br><br>Airlines Operating at the Airport<br><br>Ground Handling Companies<br><br>ARFF Equipment Manufacturers/Service Providers<br><br>Insurance Companies<br><br>Local Community Leaders<br><br>Civil Aviation Authorities<br><br><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Education Qualification:<br><br></strong>Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification.<br><br>Certification from an accredited firefighting academy is required.<br><br><strong>Work Experience<br><br></strong>2-3 years of experience firefighting experience, preferably in aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) operations.<br/><br/>Please mention the word **CONVENIENT** and tag RMmEwMTo0Zjg6MTQxOjQyMjk6OjI= when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMmEwMTo0Zjg6MTQxOjQyMjk6OjI=).
