Founding Product Engineer

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a rare opportunity to be the <strong>first engineering hire</strong> at a fast-moving, Y Combinator-backed startup building the marketing suite for the agentic web. The company helps brands understand and improve how AI platforms — think large language model-powered search and content tools — mention and surface them. You'll work <strong>directly with both founders and customers</strong>, owning product features from ambiguous idea all the way to live, value-delivering product.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The work spans product thinking, frontend, backend systems, LLM pipelines, data, and real customer conversations. If you thrive in early-stage environments where you shape what gets built and how, this role is for you.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own full product features end to end — identify what to build, ship it, and keep iterating until it creates real customer value.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work side by side with the founders and customers on a daily basis.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Span the full stack: frontend UI, backend systems, LLM/agentic pipelines, and data infrastructure.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Talk directly to customers, translate those conversations into product decisions, and close the loop.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design simple, intuitive UX for complex AI-driven workflows.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated track record of shipping production SaaS features — you know what "done" looks like in a real product.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable owning full-stack product work from an ambiguous problem all the way to a live feature.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong instinct for designing clean, usable UX on top of complex workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid experience with <strong>TypeScript</strong> and <strong>React</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Has shipped a product from 0 to 1 before (side project, startup, or early-stage role counts).</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience with <strong>Vite, Supabase, Vercel,</strong> and/or <strong>ClickHouse</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to <strong>LLMs and agentic workflows</strong> — either in production or in the way you personally work.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage startup environment.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Soft skills:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Product-minded generalist who wants to own outcomes, not just tasks.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Enjoys direct customer contact and turning feedback into product.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Based in Munich or genuinely willing to relocate — this is an on-site role.</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Base salary:</strong> €85,000 – €120,000 per year</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Equity:</strong> Meaningful VSOP (founding-team range)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Visa sponsorship:</strong> Available</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">True founding-team scope and impact from day one</p></li></ul><h3>Location</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Munich, Germany — on-site.</strong> The team works together in person.
