Depending on your preference, you can opt to work at either our London office or our Kent office.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll work 40 hours per week. This means you'll work Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm, with a one hour lunch break.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"> You'll also work one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday), once every 4 weeks, and have two weekdays off in lieu.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Your team’s objectives</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Protect </strong>our customers and society, by <strong>preventing fraud and financial crime</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comply with fraud and financial crime regulations and company policy.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Minimise customer and applicant friction through <strong>skilled and timely decisions</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify opportunities for <strong>product</strong> and <strong>process improvement</strong>.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>How you’ll impact those objectives</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You’ll conduct <strong>fraud investigations </strong>around scams and application fraud.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You’ll <strong>utilise fraud systems </strong>and intelligence sources to make case decisions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You’ll <strong>report fraud</strong> to organisations such as Cifas.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">You’ll support new <strong>application checks </strong>and<strong> existing customer monitoring</strong> to proactively prevent fraud.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What do you need to succeed in this role?</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent written and verbal English communication.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Great organisation skills, comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to work independently and take ownership of cases.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Keen to self-develop and stay informed about current industry fraud trends.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Have an analytical mindset with a good attention to detail.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Previous fraud experience is advantageous, particularly around Unsecured Loans or Credit Cards.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>The interview process</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We’re not a corporation so we try our best to get things moving as quickly as possible.
