Full-Stack Engineer

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">We are a fast-growing, <strong>Y Combinator-backed SaaS startup</strong> operating at the intersection of AI and enterprise sales automation. Our platform helps distributors and manufacturers eliminate lost deals by automating quoting and order processing end-to-end — integrating directly with major ERP and CRM systems. We're a small, high-output team and we move fast.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're looking for a <strong>Full-Stack Engineer</strong> with a founder mindset to build AI-powered systems end-to-end. This is a hands-on, high-agency role for someone who loves owning architecture decisions, shipping production-grade software, and working across the entire stack.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the architecture and design of AI systems from concept to production.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with a talented cross-functional engineering team across the full stack.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build robust data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deploy and manage software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Make the backend scalable, stable, and performant.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop scalable, reusable frontend components and API structures.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Write clean, maintainable code with well-considered testing strategies (unit and integration).</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency building end-to-end AI-powered web applications using <strong>Next.js / React</strong> on the frontend and <strong>Python</strong> on the backend.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong proficiency with <strong>TypeScript</strong> in frontend development.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated product-minded mindset with a track record of shipping complex web applications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience designing and implementing scalable <strong>RESTful APIs</strong> and API structures.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building and maintaining <strong>data pipelines</strong> for processing large-scale unstructured data.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency with cloud platforms (<strong>AWS, Azure, or GCP</strong>) and modern CI/CD practices.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Docker and Kubernetes</strong> for containerization and deployment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to own architecture and design decisions with clear documentation and code quality standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience building and validating unit and integration testing strategies.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">No visa sponsorship required — candidates must be authorized to work in Germany.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Hands-on experience with <strong>ML/NLP technologies</strong>, including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, with production deployments.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with <strong>ML model serving and inference pipelines</strong> in production environments.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency with <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> and relational data modeling.</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Salary:</strong> €90,000 – €200,000 annually, depending on experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Opportunity to have meaningful impact at an early-stage, high-growth company.</p></li></ul><h3>Location</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>On-site in Munich, Germany.</strong> This role does not offer a remote or hybrid option.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Visa sponsorship is <strong>not available</strong> — applicants must already be authorized to work in Germany.</p></li></ul><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
