Whether you’re ready to embed with an established squad or help bootstrap a brand-new one, this is an opportunity to build impactful features across the stack with modern tools and a smart, collaborative team. You’ll report to an Engineering Manager and work on real, high-impact initiatives.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end feature delivery—from UI/UX to API and database design.</li> <li>Build and maintain scalable React interfaces</li> <li>Architect and implement APIs using NestJS and Postgres</li> <li>Manage integrations with external services using internal credential/token management systems</li> <li>Design and implement secure OAuth 2.0 flows and SSO (Google, Microsoft, etc.)</li> <li>Contribute to and maintain our Docker/Kubernetes/Helm-based infrastructure</li> <li>Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across the organization</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About You</strong></h3> <h3><strong>The essentials:</strong></h3> </p> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency with <strong>TypeScript</strong>, <strong>React</strong>, <strong>NestJS</strong>, and <strong>Postgres</strong></li> <li>Comfortable shipping across the entire stack—UI to DB.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>monorepo tooling (pnpm, turborepo, nx)</strong></li> <li>Solid understanding of API authentication, credential management, and secure integrations with third-party services</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of <strong>OAuth 2.0</strong>, including implementation of valid auth flows and SSO</li> <li>Experience working with <strong>Docker</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, and <strong>Helm</strong> in production environments</li> <li>Familiarity with domain-driven design or clean architecture patterns</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Not a must, but a plus:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with infrastructure as code (we use Terraform)</li> <li>Prior work in high-compliance environments (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.)</li> <li>Experience bootstrapping new squads or systems from scratch.</li> <li>AI/ML familiarity—especially implementing tools like LangChain or working with embeddings and RAG pipelines</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Location Requirement:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>This is a remote role, but applicants must be based in Brazil and legally eligible to work in the country.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-VM1</p> <p><strong>About Monks </strong></p> <p>Monks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4 Capital plc.
