Growth Lead (3-month contract)

<p><strong>About KidsHustle</strong></p><p>KidsHustle is the first job platform where busy adults can safely hire local teenagers. Adult gig platforms are 18+ only, which shuts out a willing local workforce of 13 to 17 year olds, so we built a safe, verified way for adults to post paid jobs (gardening, car washing, tutoring, pet sitting and more) and for local teens to earn from them, with their parents able to see everything along the way. KidsHustle is live on the App Store and Google Play, and is a trading name of Urban Mechanics Ltd.</p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a self-directed growth marketer to get our first wave of customers posting and paying for jobs. You’ll own customer acquisition end to end, choosing the channels, running the experiments and reporting on what works. We’ll give you one clear goal, a marketing budget and full freedom over how you hit it, with a short weekly call to share results and anything in the product that’s holding customers back.</p><p>This is a hands-on launch role, not a strategy or brand position. Expect to be out in local communities, working with schools, residents’ groups and local organisations, running local campaigns and events, and testing paid channels, with your success measured on new customers completing their first paid job on KidsHustle.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p><ul><li><p>Own customer acquisition across South West London, starting with East Sheen, Richmond, Barnes and surrounding areas</p></li><li><p>Find and test channels, from local Facebook and WhatsApp groups, schools and community events to paid social and search</p></li><li><p>Turn first-time customers into repeat users</p></li><li><p>Manage a marketing budget of around £4,500 over the contract, released in stages as channels prove themselves</p></li><li><p>Track results and share a short weekly update on numbers, learnings and blockers</p></li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><ul><li><p>You’ve acquired customers for a consumer product, ideally a marketplace, local service or app, and can point to results</p></li><li><p>You’re comfortable working independently with a goal and a budget, and don’t need step-by-step direction</p></li><li><p>You’re happy doing scrappy, hands-on work to get early traction</p></li><li><p>You’re based in or near London and can work locally in South West London</p></li><li><p>You have the right to work in the UK</p></li><li><p>You’re willing to undergo a basic DBS check, as KidsHustle serves families and teenagers</p></li></ul><p><strong>Terms</strong></p><ul><li><p>3-month self-employed contract, invoiced monthly</p></li><li><p>Around 3 days a week, scheduled by you, with most of the work out in local communities across South West London</p></li><li><p>£1,200 per month, plus a £25 bonus for every new customer who completes their first paid job, up to £1,500 in bonuses</p></li><li><p>You’re free to work with other clients alongside this contract</p></li><li><p>A secure, managed laptop can be provided for working with company data</p></li><li><p>Option to extend or increase the scope if early milestones are hit</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.co.uk/english-speaking-jobs">English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
