We are family-owned, we are growing, and we run our business through a single ERP system: tea production and blending, direct-store-delivery truck distribution, a Shopify storefront, and wholesale accounts across the country and overseas.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>This role sits at the center of that. You will work inside SAP Business One to build the processes, reports, and tools the business runs on, and you will learn how tea gets blended, packed, loaded onto a truck, and delivered.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>A meaningful share of the work is hands-on building. Our systems have to talk to each other — the ERP, the storefront, the shipping and distribution side — and the automations that connect them need someone who can write the queries and scripts behind them and prove they actually work.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>You will report directly to the Director of ERP and Manufacturing Operations. The team is small, so your work is visible and you will see the results of what you build.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span>What you will do</span></strong></p> <ul> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Develop and maintain processes in SAP Business One to support and streamline business operations..</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Build, test, and maintain automated workflows and integrations that move data between SAP Business One and the other systems in the tech stack, including writing the SQL and scripts they depend on.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Continually validate results of queries, workflows, dashboards, and other automations to ensure that business decisions are being made with accurate information.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Analyze operational data to surface trends and track down anomalies, then explain what you found.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Spot gaps and friction in operations and proactively develop tech-driven solutions to streamline processes.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Create reports and dashboards for increased business insights, while tracking adoption and end-user usage.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Train end users, write the documentation, and measure adoption rates.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Learn the Harney &amp; Sons operation (production, distribution, ecommerce, and wholesale) well enough to spot problems before anyone files a ticket.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>When we work with outside implementation consultants, document requirements, track deliverables, and flag slippage early.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>Write clear progress updates and brief the departments affected by what you are building.</span></li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span>Who we are looking for</span></strong></p> <ul> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You like taking apart how something works and figuring out why it breaks.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You thrive in a cross-functional, collaborative work environment.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You have already outgrown spreadsheets for the harder problems and reach for code when it is the better tool.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You have strong communication skills and can communicate technical information in simple terms.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You follow through: a small improvement that actually ships beats a big plan that never does.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You can proactively spot and address errors and inefficiencies.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>You do not trust your own output until you have tested it. You care about data being right, and about keeping it secure.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span>A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, accounting, supply chain, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.</span></li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span>Technical skills we need</span></strong></p> <ul> <li class="MsoNormal"><strong><span>SQL.</span></strong><span> You can write joins and aggregations, read someone else’s query, and work out why a result set has the wrong row count.
