You will secure the quality of our high-risk customer decisions while building more scalable KYC/KYB processes and establishing the team as a trusted second-line partner to Product.</p> <p>You will work closely with <strong>Florence</strong>, who leads the broader AFC Compliance function, and manage a team of AFC specialists covering AML KYB/C and Sanctions. Your work will directly shape how Qonto translates evolving French and European AML/CFT requirements into safe, efficient and customer-focused products and processes.</p> <h2>As Head of AFCC – France at Qonto, you will</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Own high-risk customer governance:</strong> Ensure sound, timely and well-documented decisions across Enhanced Due Diligence, high-risk customer approvals and periodic reviews</li> <li><strong>Strengthen our KYC/KYB framework:</strong> Translate evolving French and European AML/CFT requirements into clear policies, guidelines, questionnaires, controls and operational processes</li> <li><strong>Advise Product on AFC risk:</strong> Assess new features and customer journeys, provide clear second-line recommendations and help teams design workable, compliant solutions</li> <li><strong>Build more scalable ways of working:</strong> Move the team progressively from production-heavy activities toward process ownership, continuous improvement and controlled automation</li> <li><strong>Lead and grow the team:</strong> Set priorities, raise the bar on regulatory judgment and develop specialists with different levels of experience</li> </ul> <h2>What you can expect</h2> <ul> <li><strong>A high-impact scope:</strong> Your decisions will influence customer onboarding, product design and Qonto’s wider AFC risk framework</li> <li><strong>A genuine build-and-transform challenge:</strong> You will protect business continuity today while designing a more scalable operating model for tomorrow</li> <li><strong>Close Product exposure:</strong> You will work directly with Product, Tech, Operations and Compliance stakeholders to turn regulation into practical solutions</li> <li><strong>A European environment:</strong> You will help create a consolidated KYC/KYB view across Qonto while partnering with local AML Officers and respecting local accountability</li> <li><strong>Meaningful ownership:</strong> This is a hands-on leadership role where technical expertise, sound judgment and the ability to make progress through ambiguity all matter</li> </ul> <h2>About your future manager</h2> <p>You will report to <strong>Florence</strong>, who leads the broader AFC Compliance function.
