Head of Content

<p>Leopard Labs builds digital products and distribution around global thought leaders in institutional capital. Our first products serve macroeconomic intelligence to institutional hedge funds managing more than 200 billion dollars. We are now adding more domains to the portfolio — and we are hiring a Head of Content to build the distribution and growth of that thought leadership to a global audience of institutional finance professionals.</p> <h2>About the role</h2> <p>You are the first hire in this function and you will own it outright.</p> <p>You work closely with the CEO, the Chief of Staff, and the thought leaders we partner with.</p> <p>The key outcome is growth of our audience across specialised domains, and downstream of that, how efficiently we convert audience into purchase intent.</p> <h2>What you'll do</h2> <ul> <li>Build the content strategy for each active domain and product, aimed at growing one specific audience rather than a general one.</li> <li>Own the formats that carry it: video, short form, long form, webinars, and whatever else earns its place.</li> <li>Own the content experimentation framework: test formats, hooks and styles at volume, scale what works and kill what does not.</li> <li>Build a programmatic content engine that turns expert opinion into high-quality content quickly. You will have skilled engineering support to do it.</li> <li>Measure what the strategy actually produces, and iterate fast enough that audience and purchase intent compound rather than plateau.</li> </ul> <h2>What we're looking for</h2> <ul> <li>You have owned a content strategy end to end, in finance, fintech, data, or a comparable high-growth startup. Owned it, rather than contributed to someone else's.</li> <li>You work to numbers. We will ask which audience you owned, what it was when you took it on, what it was when you left, and which channel moved it. Bring the figures.</li> <li>You can hold your own on finance and economics. Most of our readers do this for a living, and the thought leader's credibility is the product. A serious interest counts if you can show us where you built it.</li> <li>Your quality bar shows in what you have published. We will look at three pieces you are proud of and ask what you would change about them now.</li> <li>You want to build the engine rather than run one that already exists.
