We foster an environment where diversity of thought, a growth mindset and passion to deliver business values is celebrated and recognised.<br></p> <p><strong>What the day will look like</strong></p> <p>You will be responsible for creating software solutions on the platform, as well as on our suite of supporting applications.</p> <ul><li>Analysing, designing, developing and testing software solutions either in one major language or in a range of programs across multiple platforms.</li><li>Collaborating with technical business analysts, technical lead, business colleagues, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to produce solutions that meet business needs</li><li>Participating in scrum activities such as iteration planning, daily stand-up, retrospectives to continuously improve development process and delivery</li><li>Delivering and deploying new features, defect fixes and system enhancements</li><li>Developing and maintaining technical documentation</li><li>Ensuring that applications are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards.</li><li>Facilitate knowledge sharing and providing technical mentoring and guidance to other members of the development team.</li></ul> <p><strong>How this opportunity is different</strong></p> <p>We embrace a hybrid working culture where most colleagues work flexibly in the office, at home and from other remote locations.</p> <p>We believe we can drive greater growth for our business and our colleagues by fostering a more inclusive and flexible culture, improving access to talent and enhancing colleague wellbeing.</p> <p><strong>Skills and experience that will lead to success</strong></p> <ul><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Proficient in Programming Languages such as Java, Java SpringBoot, Groovy, Typescript, Javascript, Angular</li><li>Experience in Software testing (Unit, System, Integration, Functional, and Performance)</li><li>Hands on experience with Application Development Tools such as Intellij, Gradle</li><li>Experience in working in Linux/Unix shell environment and tooling</li><li>Experience in using version control tools such as GIT</li><li>Knowledge in SDLC Methodologies such as Agile and experience in working in an Agile Environment</li><li>Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server Databases</li><li>Expert in implementation of API Integrations / web services SOAP, REST</li><li>Dev Ops Teamcity / Octopus or similar</li><li>Good fundamental knowledge on Core Design Patterns, such as observable, layered</li><li>Ability to analyse business requirements, and convert business needs into user stories and technical tasks, and lead business stakeholders towards functional design decisions</li><li>A strong team player who thrives as part of a high performing team, is approachable and strong collaborator across cross-functional teams</li><li>Ability to adapt to changes, eager to learn and being open minded</li><li>Effectively communicate with clarity and confidence to both technical audience and business users</li><li>Takes ownership and commits to delivering high quality outcomes</li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/hrtx-full-stack-developer">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/hrtx-full-stack-developer</a></p>
