This role sits at the intersection of hands-on execution, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with R&#x26;D and Project Management.</p> <h2>Aufgaben</h2> <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate a team of jointers across laboratory operations, field execution, and technical interfaces (R&#x26;D, Project Management)</li> <li>Oversee preparation, installation, and testing of HV cables and accessories up to 500 kV</li> <li>Monitor and supervise jointing activities at external laboratories and client sites internationally</li> <li>Supervise cable system installations on-site, ensuring technical compliance and quality standards</li> <li>Support laboratory setup, commissioning, and operational readiness</li> <li>Train, develop, and mentor jointers, transferring technical expertise systematically</li> <li>Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement of jointing methods, processes, and documentation</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifikation</h2> <ul> <li>Technical education in electrical engineering, network engineering, mechanics, or metalworking</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HV cable jointing and accessories, field and/or laboratory environment</li> <li>Proven track record in supervising field operations or construction sites in an HV context</li> <li>Background in HV testing (Resonance, Partial Discharge, Outer Sheath, Impedance, Contact Resistance) is a strong advantage</li> <li>Experience in R&#x26;D environments or product development for HV accessories is a plus</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical teams in international, multicultural settings</li> <li>Strong problem-solving mindset with a high degree of autonomy</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel internationally (20–30%)</li> <li>Fluent English required — German and/or other languages are an asset</li> </ul> <p>Find <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.com/">Jobs in Germany</a> on Arbeitnow</a>
