Our students are career changers looking for realistic, entry-level opportunities — and coaching helps bridge the gap between coursework and landing the job.</p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>We’re looking for a <strong>part-time HVAC Career Coach</strong> to support students through live workshops and optional 1:1 coaching.</p> <p>This is <strong>not a traditional employment role</strong> and <strong>not a guaranteed-income position</strong>. It’s a flexible, paid opportunity best suited for experienced HVAC technicians who enjoy mentoring, teaching, and helping others break into the trade — with upside if students choose to work with you.</p> <h3>How This Role Actually Works</h3> <ul> <li> <p>You host a <strong>live, one-hour workshop</strong> (seminar-style) for students</p> </li> <li> <p>You are paid <strong>$50 per workshop</strong>, plus <strong>any private coaching business you acquire</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>You may receive <strong>exclusive coaching opportunities</strong> based on performance and engagement</p> </li> <li> <p>Workshops are used to provide value, answer questions, and showcase your real-world experience</p> </li> <li> <p>If students choose to book you for 1:1 coaching, <strong>you keep the coaching revenue</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>You set your own availability and working hours</p> </li> </ul> <p>There is <strong>no requirement to convert students</strong> — workshops are paid regardless — but conversion is where the upside comes from.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Host a <strong>live, one-hour workshop</strong> on a monthly basis</p> </li> <li> <p>Answer student questions about HVAC careers and the job search</p> </li> <li> <p>Share real-world insight into what <strong>entry-level HVAC roles, apprenticeships, and certifications</strong> actually look like</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide optional 1:1 coaching to students who request it</p> </li> </ul> <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3> <ul> <li> <p><strong>3+ years of professional HVAC experience</strong> (residential, commercial, or industrial)</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with entry-level roles, apprenticeships, and certification pathways (EPA 608, etc.)</p> </li> <li> <p>Interest in mentoring and helping career changers enter the trades</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication and teaching ability</p> </li> <li> <p>Availability <strong>at least three evenings per week</strong>, ideally Tuesday–Thursday</p> </li> <li> <p>Self-starter mindset — comfortable leading workshops independently</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Ideal Fit</h3> <p>This role is a great fit if you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Enjoy teaching and mentoring</p> </li> <li> <p>Want flexible, side income</p> </li> <li> <p>Like the idea of being paid to teach — with optional upside</p> </li> <li> <p>Don’t need guaranteed hours or full-time income</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Compensation</h3> <ul> <li> <p><strong>$50 per one-hour workshop (One per month guaranteed)</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>Unlimited upside from 1:1 coaching sessions you convert</p> </li> <li> <p>No caps, no quotas, no minimums</p> </li> </ul>
