<strong>About This Role<br><br></strong><ul><li>Help people build practical skills for life after prison.</li><li>Train prisoners in real workplaces across varied industry settings.</li><li>Enjoy hands-on work where every day brings something different.</li><li>Join a supportive team while building safer communities through meaningful work.</li><li>Ongoing, full-time role earning $85,787 - $98,651 per year, plus super.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong>As industry officer, you will help prisoners build work skills in prison industry areas.<br><br>You will support safe daily operations while meeting production and training goals.<br><br><strong>You Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>train and supervise prisoners in commercial and service industry work areas</li><li>maintain safe workplaces by following security, safety and operational procedures</li><li>monitor production, stock, records and equipment to support daily operations</li><li>coach prisoners to build practical skills and improve future employment opportunities</li><li>work with your team to improve processes, complete reports and meet production goals.<br><br></li></ul><strong>About You<br><br></strong>A trade qualification or relevant experience in cabinet making, joinery, timber or metal fabrication is highly desirable.
