Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.</em></p> <p><strong>The Team and Mission</strong></p> <p>You'd be joining our Infrastructure team within the Platform Engineering division.</p> <p>We're building an AI-native platform for our internal developers, over 150 of them, guided by a single question: does this shorten the time from idea to value, for the teams building on our platform and for the customers they ultimately serve?</p> <p>The smooth path is the safe, fast path, because the platform makes it the default. We build the route that maximizes AI acceleration.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, build, and evolve our cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) as code, using Terraform to keep every environment reproducible and legible to both engineers and agents</p> </li> <li> <p>Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with guardrails that make agentic releases safe by default</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain and evolve Helm charts and deployment workflows as reusable</p> </li> <li> <p>Strengthen observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting, feeding signal back into AI-assisted remediation and define clear alert ownership</p> </li> <li> <p>Harden infrastructure security, image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall configuration</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner closely with product engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs</p> </li> <li> <p>Enable developers and agents to deploy and manage services independently</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in the on-call rotation</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering</p> </li> <li> <p>AI-forward: you hold everything you build to an AI-native standard</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP experience transfers well)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient with Kubernetes in production environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with Docker and containerized applications</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with observability tools, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support engineering teams</p> </li> <li> <p>A strong communicator who can explain platform complexity and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders</p> </li> <li> <p>Expert-level English, spoken and written.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>About MaintainX</strong></p> <p><em>MaintainX is committed to creating a diverse environment.
