<h2>About the role</h2> <p>Authority is building an expert panel to understand and predict important developments in global infrastructure markets.</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who is currently active in the market in the United Kingdom and has up-to-date knowledge of local conditions.</p> <p>You will provide practical intelligence on transport, energy, water, telecommunications and public infrastructure, including project pipelines, funding, procurement, regulation, delivery, costs, operators and investors in the United Kingdom.</p> <p>Your intelligence will help improve datasets and forecasting models designed to predict commercial events, market changes and business outcomes.</p> <h2>What you will contribute</h2> <ul> <li>Join short monthly research calls</li> <li>Review market data and identify missing or inaccurate information</li> <li>Explain important changes in the local market</li> <li>Assess the likelihood and timing of projects, investment and demand</li> <li>Share intelligence on companies, investors, customers and public bodies</li> <li>Review forecasts and explain the local signals that matter</li> </ul> <h2>Relevant expertise</h2> <ul> <li>Transport and mobility infrastructure</li> <li>Power, grids and energy infrastructure</li> <li>Water, waste and environmental services</li> <li>Telecommunications and digital infrastructure</li> <li>Public works and social infrastructure</li> <li>Public-private partnerships and project finance</li> <li>Procurement, regulation and concessions</li> <li>Engineering, construction and asset operations</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of relevant professional experience</li> <li>Currently active or closely involved in the market in the United Kingdom</li> <li>Strong and up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions</li> <li>Direct experience with commercial, investment, operational or strategic decisions</li> <li>A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant experience</li> </ul> <h2>Engagement details</h2> <ul> <li>Independent contract</li> <li>Remote within the United Kingdom</li> <li>Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month</li> </ul> <p>This is not a full-time position.
