&lt;p&gt;Infrastructure Software Engineer, Apps Platform, London&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;As an Infrastructure Engineer on the Apps Platform Infrastructure team, you&#39;ll help build and evolve our platform’s deployment and observability layers across multiple cloud providers and on-premises, for both internal and customer-managed environments. This is a role for someone who cares about building cloud-agnostic infrastructure and deployment pipelines.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You&#39;ll partner closely with internal teams to understand how they use and deploy the platform, debug their issues, and shape a roadmap that balances immediate needs with long-term architecture.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h3&gt;You will:&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Expand the deployment footprint of our platform to cover both on-premise, all major cloud platforms and beyond&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensure fast, secure, and reproducible deployments across all supported CSPs and on-prem&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Expand the observability of the platform so that forward deployed infrastructure teams can easily and efficiently operate customer deployments&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Partner closely with internal teams deploying the platform to understand their needs, debug issues, and build tooling that serves their use cases&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Respond to incidents and production issues with urgency, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive fixes&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Help develop and maintain a product roadmap for deployment and observability&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lead architecture reviews and own projects end-to-end, from design through deployment, in fast-paced cross-functional settings&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h3&gt;Ideally you&#39;d have:&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;5+ years of experience building and deploying enterprise and public sector solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and on-premises&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Deep expertise in infrastructure design, networking engineering, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Deep proficiency with IaC, containerisation and orchestration tools and technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker)&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery principles using GitHub Actions or CircleCI.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience with GitOps-style deployments and a track record of ensuring consistent, repeatable deployments&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Strong debugging skills and the ability to navigate performance/security tradeoffs in production systems&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to context-switch between reactive incident work and proactive product development&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h3&gt;Nice to haves:&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience as a founder or early engineer at an infrastructure-focused startup, owning a product end-to-end&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience running secure workloads in multi-tenant or untrusted environments (e.g., FaaS, CI sandboxes, remote notebooks)&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Open-source contributions to systems or developer-tools projects&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;History of on-call/incident response for production systems&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div class=&quot;content-conclusion&quot;&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;PLEASE NOTE:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Our policy requires a 90-day waiting period before reconsidering candidates for the same role.
