Intern Quantitative Investment Analyst (f/m/d)

<p style="min-height:1.5em">As an Intern Quantitative Investment Analyst (f/m/d), you support our Investment Team in the continuous development and management of our investment strategies in the areas of Public and Private Markets. The position is available from October 2026, and the internship lasts at least four months.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What will you actually be doing?</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Tactical Asset Allocation Models:</strong> You contribute to the quantitative research behind our tactical asset allocation models by independently backtesting model enhancements, evaluating new signals, and preparing analyses for our investment decisions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Fund Selection: </strong>You assist in the quantitative screening, selection, and monitoring of funds and ETFs. This includes peer-group comparisons, performance and risk analyses, and supporting the ongoing due diligence of our fund universe.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Developing the Code Base: </strong>You support our quantitative analysts in further developing our code base. Among other things, this includes Python-based tools for portfolio simulation, backtesting, and fund selection.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Capital Market Analyses: </strong>You independently conduct quantitative capital market analyses to support our analysts and client advisors.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><br />WHAT YOU BRING</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Background: </strong>You are currently studying computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, finance or a related field and have a strong affinity for quantitative topics. Ideally, you have gained some initial experience in capital markets, statistical modeling, or data analysis.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Skills and Qualifications: </strong>You have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a hands-on mentality. You are proficient in Python and SQL and ideally have experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars. You also bring at least a basic understanding of capital markets.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Mindset: </strong>Your keen eye for detail goes hand in hand with your careful and conscientious way of working. Ineffective and inefficient processes bother you, and you proactively take steps to continuously improve them.
