And the internal audit role sits at the heart of it.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Alan is growing fast, across France, Belgium, Spain, Canada and new countries to be opened. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Lead end-to-end audits autonomously</strong> across Finance, Insurance Operations, Compliance, IT, and Security — from scoping through to Audit Committee reporting</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Own and drive closure</strong> of a meaningful share of our open recommendation backlog (15 to 20 open items)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Represent the Internal Audit function</strong> at Audit Committee level when needed</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Co-build the next generation</strong> of audit tooling and automation within the function and the broader Corporate community</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Act as a genuine business partner and challenger</strong> — working closely with Finance, Risk, Actuarial, Compliance, and Operations</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em">By the end of your first year, you will have independently led at least 3 full audits, contributed to at least 2 automation or tooling initiatives, and built the trust to represent the function at governance level without oversight.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>⭐️ Is it what you are looking for? ⭐️</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>You may be a great fit if you have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>5+ years of hands-on internal audit experience, </strong>spanning operational, compliance, and financial audits</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Deep expertise in risk management </strong>across Actuarial, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, and Security domains</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Fluent in both French and English </strong>— you operate confidently across geographies and in front of senior governance bodies</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Strong command of the insurance and financial services industry </strong>— you understand how the business works, not just how it's regulated</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Sharp legal and regulatory instincts </strong>— you can interpret complex frameworks and translate them into actionable audit findings</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Strong quantitative and data analysis skills </strong>— comfortable analyzing policies, claims, and financial data; autonomous in SQL and actively leverages AI tools in day-to-day work</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>A builder at heart —</strong> excited to shape something differentiated, not looking for a conventional audit career path</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Written-first — </strong>structured, precise, and fully at ease with Alan's async communication culture</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>As a plus:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort auditing automated and data-driven processes (data quality, system controls, operational workflows)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to IT, cybersecurity, or infrastructure audits</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience managing recommendation tracking at scale, including with engineering or product teams</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>For this role, we are looking to hire within the </em><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity"><em>C to E level range</em></a><em>.</em></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>🌍 How we work</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Location:</strong> You must be legally eligible to work from France.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Remote work:</strong> We offer remote work flexibility, but we value in-person collaboration</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"> </div><h2><strong>🎯 Important note: we hire people, not roles.</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you.
