International Accountant

And that's where you come in:</p> <p>We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our global Finance team and support financial reporting for our international entities. In this role, you'll take ownership of IFRS financial statement preparation and play a key part in our annual statutory audit cycles. You'll work closely with colleagues across time zones and contribute to a finance function that values accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br />• Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements for multiple international entities,<br />ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable standards.<br />• Support the statutory audit process by coordinating with external auditors, preparing<br />schedules, and responding to audit queries in a timely manner.<br />• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account<br />reconciliations, and variance analysis.<br />• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for international subsidiaries across multiple<br />currencies.<br />• Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for financial reporting packages.<br />• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and intercompany eliminations.<br />• Monitor and ensure compliance with local statutory filing requirements in the Philippines and<br />other assigned jurisdictions.<br />• Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to gather financial data and<br />resolve discrepancies.<br />• Support process improvement initiatives and help document accounting policies and<br />procedures.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS<br />• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br />• CPA license (Philippines) is strongly preferred.<br />• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multinational or shared-<br />services environments.<br />• Working knowledge of IFRS; hands-on experience preparing or supporting IFRS financial<br />statements is required.<br />• Prior participation in statutory audit support or external audit coordination is a strong<br />advantage.<br />• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP) and Microsoft Excel.<br />• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.<br />• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.<br />• Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment and collaborating across time zones.</p> <p>NICE TO HAVE<br />• Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency consolidations.<br />• Familiarity with US GAAP and the ability to identify key differences with IFRS.<br />• Experience working with global teams in the US, Europe, or Asia-Pacific.</p> <p><strong>Get in on all the awesome at Instructure!</strong></p> <p>We offer competitive, meaningful benefits in every country where we operate.
