We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Coding Instructor for a project-based position lasting 3 months.</p><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are seeking a Digital Arts Track Instructor responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on sessions that introduce students to the fundamentals of digital design, animation, video editing, and 3D content creation. The instructor will guide students through practical creative workflows using industry-relevant tools such as Photopea, Figma, Canva, Inkscape, CapCut, Blender, and Unity. <br> <br> The role focuses on helping students understand core visual design principles, animation fundamentals, and digital media production while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and project-based learning.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Deliver structured sessions covering digital design, animation, video editing, and 3D modeling fundamentals.</li><li>Teach students how to use digital creative tools including Photopea, Figma, Canva, Inkscape, CapCut, Blender, and Unity.</li><li>Guide students through hands-on projects such as designing logos, creating vector illustrations, producing short videos, and building simple 3D models.</li><li>Introduce design principles including shape composition, layout, and visual storytelling.</li><li>Teach students how to break complex drawings into simple geometric shapes and design creative visual assets.</li><li>Explain core 2D animation concepts including animation basics, character joints, and shape-based animation techniques.</li><li>Demonstrate how animation is used in games, cartoons, and digital media.</li><li>Teach the fundamentals of video editing including trimming clips, arranging timelines, adding text overlays, and adjusting basic audio.</li><li>Introduce students to 3D modeling concepts using Blender, including navigating the interface and creating simple low‑poly models.</li><li>Explain the differences between Eevee and Cycles render engines and guide students in exporting visual outputs.</li><li>Guide students in importing assets into Unity and organizing them for basic game development workflows.</li><li>Mentor students during exercises and projects while encouraging creativity and experimentation.</li></ul> <ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of <strong>digital design fundamentals</strong>, including composition, layout, and visual storytelling. </li><li> Practical experience with <strong>digital creative tools</strong>, such as <strong>Photopea, Figma, Canva, Inkscape, CapCut, Blender, and Unity</strong>. </li><li> Knowledge of <strong>vector illustration and digital design workflows</strong>. </li><li> Understanding of <strong>2D animation fundamentals</strong>, including shape-based animation and character joints. </li><li> Basic knowledge of <strong>video editing</strong>, including timeline management, trimming clips, adding text overlays, and basic audio adjustments. </li><li> Familiarity with <strong>3D modeling concepts in Blender</strong>, including creating simple low-poly models. </li><li> Basic understanding of <strong>render engines (Eevee and Cycles)</strong> and exporting visual outputs. </li><li> Basic knowledge of <strong>game development workflows</strong>, including importing and organizing assets in Unity. </li><li> Ability to <strong>explain complex creative concepts in a simple and engaging way</strong>. </li><li> Experience in <strong>guiding students through practical, project-based learning activities</strong>. </li><li> Strong <strong>communication, mentoring, and classroom engagement skills</strong>.</li></ul></ul> <ul><li>Compatible Salary.</li><li>Flexible Hours.</li><li>Certificate of Experience</li><li>Team Collaboration &amp; Mentorship</li></ul> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/ischool-graphic-design-instructor-project-based">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/ischool-graphic-design-instructor-project-based</a></p>
