<strong>About This Role<br><br></strong><ul><li>Keep prison grounds, deliveries and daily services running safely.</li><li>Work across grounds, meals, laundry, stores and property services.</li><li>Use practical skills while working as part of a supportive team.</li><li>Enjoy varied work that keeps you active and useful.</li><li>Ongoing, full-time role earning $62,104 - $79,753 per year, plus super.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong>As Justice Officer, Grounds and Services, you will support daily prison services.<br><br>You'll plan your work, maintain grounds and move items across the prison.<br><br><strong>You Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>care for tidy and safe grounds, including lawns, plants and walkways.</li><li>deliver items across the prison and keep to set schedules.</li><li>load, unload, check and operate light delivery vehicles safely.</li><li>help with meals, laundry, stores, property and minor maintenance tasks.</li><li>plan daily work so essential duties are completed on time.<br><br></li></ul><strong>About You<br><br></strong>You must hold a current Victorian driver's licence. Experience in maintenance or logistics is desirable, as is a forklift licence.<br><br><strong>You Should Also Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>delivery and logistics experience and an understanding of how to move items safely.</li><li>maintenance experience and the ability to operate light machinery and vehicles.</li><li>good driving skills, with a clean driving record and a careful approach to safety.</li><li>flexibility and teamwork, with respect for people from different backgrounds.<br><br></li></ul>To learn even more about this role, please read the position description.
