Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d)

<br><strong>Your responsibilities</strong><p>• Together with two fellow Lead Engineers, you will help lead an engineering organization of around 20 people.<br>• You will provide technical and functional leadership for a team, with no more than five direct reports.<br>• You will build robust backend solutions for sophisticated wealth management products and actively shape their architecture.<br>• You will establish new technical standards and champion high-quality, sustainable software design in a regulated environment.<br>• You will break down complex business and technical topics into focused workstreams with clear ownership.<br>• Initially, you will work extensively hands-on in the codebase; over time, the role will develop toward approximately 70% team leadership and 30% technical work.<br>• You will support your team members’ development and foster a constructive, learning-oriented engineering culture.<br>• You will strengthen our internal development capacity and help deliver reliable software that supports lasting client relationships.</p><br><strong>Your profile</strong><p>• Several years of backend development experience with Python and Django.<br>• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis, together with experience in cloud-based architectures like Microsoft Azure or AWS<br>• A genuine passion for excellent software design and clean, maintainable solutions.<br>• Initial or proven experience in technical or functional leadership.<br>• A genuine interest in financial markets, investing and wealth management, enabling you to understand our users and build a lasting connection with the product.<br>• A growth mindset, curiosity and the motivation to develop both technically and as a leader.</p><br><strong>What we offer</strong><p>We are an established product company with the spirit of a startup.
