If you&#39;re looking to solve interesting problems and see your work deliver real-world results, this is the team for you!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h2&gt;Responsibilities and Duties&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lead and mentor a team of Linux engineers&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Own the reliability, performance and scalability of engineering Linux environments&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps practices&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Build automation that reduces operational overhead and improves consistency&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lead major incident response and root cause analysis activities&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Partner with software, platform and infrastructure teams to support evolving engineering requirements&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Establish standards, tooling and processes that enable systems to scale efficiently&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Improve observability, monitoring and operational visibility across the estate&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Help define the future direction of Linux platform engineering at Graphcore&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h2&gt;Candidate Profile&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p&gt;Essential&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Significant experience administering Linux environments at scale&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, storage and applications&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience leading engineers, projects or operational initiatives&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar)&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Puppet&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience working with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience managing production incidents and driving operational improvements&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h2&gt;Desirable&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience supporting AI, HPC or large-scale engineering environments&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience with observability platforms and monitoring systems&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience working alongside platform engineering, SRE or DevOps teams&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Knowledge of identity and access management&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Experience building or scaling operational processes&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;We welcome people of different backgrounds and experiences; we’re committed to building an inclusive work environment that makes Graphcore a great home for everyone.
