We look forward to receiving your CV.<br><br><strong>Scape Hammersmith <br><br></strong><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week, shift patterns between 7am-8pm, Monday-Sunday.<br><br><strong>Onboarding: </strong>The successful candidate will be asked to complete a DBS check and provide references to cover the last 3 years.<br><br><strong>Maintenance Operative </strong> Hours: 40 hours per week to cover 7am-8pm, Monday-Friday. You will also be part of an on-call rota which will include evenings and weekends.<br><br><strong>Your Main Responsibilities Include<br><br></strong><ul><li> Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance and more) </li><li>Carry out fault finding and leak investigations</li><li>Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations</li><li>Comply with Health &amp; Safety processes and responsibilities </li><li>Complete reports and paperwork as required</li><li>Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team of your site and the work carried out</li><li>Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels</li><li>Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy, and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager</li><li>Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site</li><li>Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures</li><li>Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs</li><li>Participate in regular, structured on-call system within the UK</li><li>To be responsible for all keys and locks within the site</li><li>Undertake painting duties where applicable</li><li>Adhere to procedures to ensure that all maintenance issues are completed in a timely and correct manner, efficiently, economically and for the benefit of the site and the company</li><li>To be aware of and adhere to all company Policies and Procedures</li><li>Reporting all incidents/accidents to the Maintenance Manager, filling in the accident book when required and log all incidents/accidents in the Health &amp; Safety computerised system</li><li>To observe good personal hygiene and appearance including uniform</li><li>Participate in any training sessions as required <br><br></li></ul><strong>Your Key Attributes And Skills Are<br><br></strong><ul><li> A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment </li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Excellent time keeping</li><li>A friendly and professional manner</li><li>Excellent customer service</li><li>The ability to work under pressure</li><li>Experience in a similar role</li><li>Eligible to live and work in the UK</li><li>Flexible in working hours <br><br></li></ul>Why work with us?<br><br>As a Scape Maintenance Operative you will be part of an enthusiastic team who work hard to give students the ultimate Scape experience.
