Maintenance Technician

Join us and be part of a team pushing the boundaries of retail technology.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About the Role&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;As an Engineering Maintenance Technician, you will play an imperative part in supporting the pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Erith.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What you will be doing&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;carry out maintenance on production equipment in an accurate, timely and safe manner.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs where possible.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Update engineering records, including all work carried out,&amp;nbsp; as well as supporting the identification of root cause of failures. Confirmation of spares and consumables will be part of your role along&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Ensuring the Computerised Maintenance Management System is updated with accurate data to meet Engineering KPIs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyse engineering failures and find solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) performance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;You will work on a days based shift pattern to support our operation and should be comfortable working at height&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About you&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;A formal engineering related qualification would be advantageous&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;You will have a basic technical understanding relating to automation hardware and software would be beneficial.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with good organisation skills and ability to prioritise are essential&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, conveyors would be advantageous&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What we offer you&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Our employee benefits are designed for you, we care about people and we’ve ensured we have a wealth of benefits that focus on your well-being.
