This is a 0 → 1 new business at Stripe, so if that sounds exciting we&#39;d love to hear from you.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h2&gt;What you&#39;ll do&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p&gt;Engineers at Stripe are comfortable working on new products under fluid conditions, seamlessly balancing tactical and strategic considerations all in service of our users.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h3&gt;Responsibilities&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Deliver a world-class mobile experience for Treasury users, including working with our partners to design and launch new features and capabilities&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Scope and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for our products to iteratively evolve and scale&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Design, build, expand, and maintain mobile-specific view cross-platform components, backing APIs and their services&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Align our technical decisions with the broad strategic initiatives at Stripe, while also advocating for needs specific to emerging new businesses&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Work with engineers across the company to understand when to leverage existing infrastructure versus when building a bespoke solution is prudent&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;h2&gt;Who you are&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p&gt;We&#39;re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;h3&gt;Minimum requirements&lt;/h3&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Have a strong technical background, including 3+ years of industry experience&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Have experience building mobile applications including working beyond just the client&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Understand good practices when building and working with UIs and APIs&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Measure your success in terms of business impact, not lines of code&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Internalize the best ideas from across the organization, humbly setting a vision that others are excited to get behind&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Work well cross-functionally and earn trust from coworkers at all levels. You are often cited as the inspiration for engineers who join your team&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Care deeply about mentorship and growing engineers • Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scale&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Thrive in a collaborative environment&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise.
