You will create wireframes and mockups, build and customize websites in platforms such as WordPress and Webflow, and ensure websites are optimized for performance, SEO, responsiveness, and user experience.</p><p>The ideal candidate has both a strong design eye and the technical ability to translate concepts into polished, production-ready websites.</p><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><h3><strong>Website Design &amp; Layouts</strong></h3><p>• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity website mockups using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch<br> • Translate visual concepts into responsive and conversion-focused website layouts<br> • Design websites aligned with brand identity, usability standards, and marketing goals<br> • Create landing pages, service pages, and website sections optimized for engagement and conversions</p><h3><strong>CMS Development &amp; Customization</strong></h3><p>• Build and update websites using WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms<br> • Customize themes, templates, and layouts using HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript<br> • Configure plugins, widgets, forms, integrations, and CMS functionality<br> • Maintain clean and organized website structures for scalability and long-term usability</p><h3><strong>Website Optimization &amp; SEO</strong></h3><p>• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness<br> • Implement on-page SEO best practices including metadata, heading structure, schema basics, alt text, and internal linking<br> • Conduct performance audits using Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse, or similar tools<br> • Improve Core Web Vitals and user experience across all devices</p><h3><strong>Testing &amp; Quality Assurance</strong></h3><p>• Test websites across browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure consistency and responsiveness<br> • Troubleshoot formatting issues, plugin conflicts, responsiveness bugs, and display inconsistencies<br> • Ensure websites meet accessibility and usability standards</p><h3><strong>Collaboration &amp; Feedback</strong></h3><p>• Collaborate with marketing, content, branding, and development teams to align websites with campaigns and business objectives<br> • Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining design consistency and usability best practices<br> • Support revisions and iterative improvements throughout project lifecycles</p><h3><strong>Website Maintenance &amp; Organization</strong></h3><p>• Maintain organized website assets, files, and project documentation<br> • Ensure CMS platforms, plugins, and themes remain updated and secure<br> • Support ongoing website improvements, updates, and maintenance tasks</p><h3><strong>What Makes You a Perfect Fit</strong></h3><p>• Strong visual design instincts paired with technical website implementation skills<br> • Able to balance aesthetics, usability, performance, and SEO requirements<br> • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and testing discipline<br> • Comfortable managing multiple website projects and deadlines simultaneously<br> • Collaborative communicator capable of working across marketing, design, and development teams<br> • Passionate about creating polished, user-friendly digital experiences</p><h3><strong>Required Experience &amp; Skills</strong></h3><p>• 2+ years of professional website design experience<br> • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools<br> • Experience building and customizing websites in WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify<br> • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS<br> • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first best practices<br> • Familiarity with website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals</p><h3><strong>Ideal Experience &amp; Skills</strong></h3><p>• Experience designing e-commerce websites using Shopify or WooCommerce<br> • Basic JavaScript or front-end development skills<br> • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools<br> • Experience working with B2B SaaS, marketing agencies, or e-commerce brands<br> • Familiarity with CMS migrations, landing page optimization, and conversion-focused design</p><h3><strong>What Does a Typical Day Look Like?</strong></h3><p>A Website Designer’s day revolves around turning concepts into polished, high-performing websites.
